About Us

ABOUT US
THIRTY YEARS OF
LONDON ON FILM.

Tee Max spent the '90s keeping a photographic record of the scenes that built British black culture — sound systems, street parties, vinyl shops, and concerts at venues that no longer exist.

These photographs were never meant to be products. They were contact sheet frames — documentary evidence of a moment. Analogue Apparel is the first time most of them have appeared publicly.

Every shirt is a primary source.

Worn and noted

This isn't merch. It's a document. The Sound System tee is the closest most people will get to knowing what that scene felt like.

DJ Friction, BBC Radio 1Xtra

TeeMax was there for all of it. These photographs are evidence. Wearing one is a statement about what you know and what you value.

Shortee Blitz, DJ & Cultural Broadcaster

I've bought three. The quality is serious — heavy cotton, proper screen print. But it's the photograph that makes it. You can't get this from a clothing brand.
